Sit With It

In December 2022, I co-created an exhibition with Florence Eadie titled Sit With It. The show ran in the RBC Media Gallery in Vancouver and was designed as a space to sit with and reflect on the feeling of the body as something raw but also borderless. My film piece YAPA explored the permeability and the liquid nature of the body: cutting between scenes of limbs, water, sunsets and swimmers and splicing digital and analogue film, I was meditating on where the body begins and ends in its entanglement with place.
